1205 Potomac Street NW

This Georgetown house garnered a lot of attention earlier this year after UrbanTurf reported it was going up for auction. However, the auction never took place as an offer too good to turn down came along. Now we know how much the home sold for.

The two-bedroom house at 1205 Potomac Street NW (map) sold for $960,000. Alex Cooper Auctioneers was planning on listing it with a starting bid of $500,000.

Because the previous owner was accepting pre-auction offers, the buyer was able to submit an all-cash offer to put the property under contract prior to the auction date.
