Add another conversion to the growing list of developments in the works for Georgetown.

One Street purchased the building a few weeks ago with plans to convert it into a residential project. The five-story property is formerly the home to the headquarters for Legal Services which moved to space at 18th and Eye Streets NW earlier this year.
The plan for the conversion is to gut the interiors to create two retail spaces on the ground floor with 30 apartments or condos on floors 2-5. The current penthouse level will be removed, and two new floors will be added, including a new penthouse with a pool, roof terrace and garden areas.
News of this conversion comes just a few days after UrbanTurf reported that the Flour Mill office buildings along Potomac Street NW are being converted into a 135-unit residential project.
