$15.5 Million Georgetown Estate Becomes DC's Most Expensive Home For Sale

There is a new most expensive home on the market in DC. 

The five-bedroom estate at 3210 R Street NW was listed on Wednesday for $15.5 million, making it the priciest listing in the city. The home sits on a 12,000 square-foot lot in Georgetown, which is enormous by neighborhood standards. The home is listed with Ellen Morrell and Jamie Peva of Washington Fine Properties.

In addition to several large spaces for entertaining including a huge great room with a fireplace, some of the home's standout features include what has been labeled the largest master suite in Georgetown that comes with a 29-foot walk-in closet and even a separate room for a hair salon.
