Kennedy Row, the 142-unit apartment complex that has been under construction for about a year at 1729 East Capitol Street SE (map), will begin leasing in January. The progress of the project, which is nearing completion, can be seen in this time-lapse video.
The joint venture from The JBG Companies and TRITEC Real Estate Companies is located about two blocks from the Stadium-Armory Metro. The apartments will range in size from junior one-bedrooms to two-bedrooms. The long-awaited project will join the newly renovated Eastern High School on a developing stretch of East Capitol Street.
Rental rates for the new apartments have yet to be finalized, but we hope to have that information soon.
